Void percentage and indicative flow rate per linear metre
Indicative flow rate per linear metre (m³/h) at VF = 3 cm/s. Values indicate the screen void percentage (%) and the corresponding flow rate for each external diameter and slot width.

The choice of slot width depends on the grain size of the soil in place and the filter pack (gravel) size. The table below shows the recommended correspondences for a gravel density of approximately 1.6 kg/Litre/Dm³.
