COPROD bits
COPROD combines a threaded drilling tube and a free impact rod inside. The tube transmits rotation, the rod transmits impact and feed; injection air flows between the two, then passes through the rod down to the bit. PROMAFORSOVEMA keeps these bits in stock in common sizes.
During assembly, the impact rods overlap inside the tube, transmitting energy directly into the rock without passing through a thread. The result: more efficient transmission, lower fuel consumption and significantly reduced drill string wear.
